More or less the entire Olive Tree dictionary of Palestinian Arabic. I sometimes skipped words I already knew. I usually tried to include some of the example sentences. There are a few typos but I should eventually sort through them.
Throughout the more than two years of making this deck I did change my mind about a few things and didn't have time to go back and fix them. For example, the "ehh" sound common in Levantine (as in حيط) was originally written by putting a fatha over the previous letter, as in حَيط, but later I changed it to حيْط because really it isn't a dipthong.
Other things:
- Later on in the deck I started indicating sun and moon letters like this الْسَّماء which should be good for new learners to get used to what they do.
- When a word ends in a [male] pronoun I've written it as ـــهُ even though it makes more of an ـــو sound (or in some cases is practically silent, as in عَليْه).
- The actual Olive Tree dictionary distinguishes between "o" and "u" sounds, but here I haven't, but that shouldn't be too big an issue once you get used to the sounds of Arabic.
- Same with the sound of ة being either "a" or "eh" - you just sort of get used to it eventually with listening, and I was too lazy to distinguish them (though I could have done something like ةٰ/ةَ to distinguish them I guess).
-A ة with a ةْ is pronounced as a ت (as in تَنكَةْ بَنزين - "tanket banziin"). I only thought of doing this like halfway through though so you won't always see it, but this shouldn't matter much - once you've seen it enough you get used to it.
- Often I've gotten rid of the ش negation particle (as in ما بَعرِفِش) to make it more neutrally Levantine sounding (as it's only used sometimes in Palestine, but isn't found in Lebanon or Syria).
Anyway so yeah, enjoy. Let me know of any issues or whatever. If you come back in a few months I'll have probably been through all the cards and corrected a few of the errors. I may also add words I find elsewhere (and if you know where to find more words, please let me know).

That is AMAZING! So much work… I really appreciate it ❤️
I do think it would make the deck more useful if it had metadata, such as entry number in the Olive Tree Dictionary, and especially if it had the original Latin transcription in an additional field. Well done, anyway! 🙂
