Japanese Particles and Combination Words JTMW (version 1.04)

0.02MB. 0 audio & 0 images. Updated 2015-02-09.

Description

Understanding and speaking Japanese is impossible without knowing the range of use of many particles, which include the equivalents of English "right? ", "because/so" and "therefore". Based on Wayne P. Lammers' "Japanese the Manga Way", but without using any of its copyrighted example sentences or manga images. Buying the book is warmly recommended if you're looking for a well-written and well-illustrated basic grammar guide to Japanese. Version 1.04 notes: - Combed lessons 13 and 14 from JTMW once more with a fine tooth comb, which led to more nuances and even some whole new notes being included. - Unified the make-up of this deck, so that all cards asking for a direct translation now use quotation marks around the words that need to be translated. Also, the front of each card now contains (wherever possible) the English translation and the back the Japanese; - Made some corrections; - Added some clarifications. Version 1.03 note: - Converted a number of cards back to the "Basic" Note Type, because otherwise quite a few cards would only have a particle as a question while that particle has so many different uses that guessing the correct answer would be pointless. Version 1.02 note: - Added some more basic particles, both for completeness' sake and because it never hurts to have some easier cards in the mix.
