Purpose This add-on will reset the ease factor of cards in selected decks each time you close Anki. Its purpose is to reduce the number of unnecessary reviews you do in Anki each day. It can be used for "escaping Ease Hell" or for the MIA approach to language learning. You can read more about why you would want to reset the ease factors of your cards here: Ease Hell blog article, Ease Hell video or the MIA website. Features - works well with synchronization between devices and does not require forcing uploads in one direction - you can export your ease factors for a deck and import them back into Anki - you can specify a minimum and maximum acceptable ease factor for each deck Screenshots Usage To use this go to Tools->Reset Ease->Preferences and enter the decks and target ease values (or ranges). You can also go to Tools->Reset Ease->Reset Ease to reset the ease values immediately. To backup/restore the ease factors of cards in a deck, click on the cogwheel next to a deck. The menu has two additional options for importing and exporting. Problems, Bugs, Errors, Improvements If you have an idea for an improvement or encounter a problem please create an issue on Github.
