Description

If you arrived here searching for colorful heatmaps, you are probably looking for the Review Heatmap addon. This addon adds a heatmap below the Anki deck browser that shows you % of reviews you did each day. The difference from Review Heatmap addon is that even if you did 1000 reviews that day, if you have 9000 reviews left to do, the heatmap will remain black. Only when you do 100% will it turn completely green, and counted in your streak. Please note that for those who do your reviews on AnkiDroid, AnkiMobile or AnkiWeb, you will need to sync your reviews before the next day on your AnkiDesktop that this addon is installed on. The addon has to log the percentages, so even if you do all your reviews on mobile phones, the addon will not know unless you sync your ankiDesktop the same day. The percentage of reviews done calculated by (cards done)/ (cards left * modifiers + cards done) * 100, at last time of that day you use Anki. (Modifiers: for new cards, 2.1, for others, 1.05) Github Link Credits Idea and color scheme based on the Anki add-on Review Heatmap by Glutanimate. Click here to support Glutanimate's work. Nice addon, but how do I fix the calendar? it is stuck on 2020 :/
on 1609633730

It's great.
There is a problem with 2021.
For solving issue simply open Anki2\addons21\1314463504\__init__.py
and replace 2020 with 2021

Today still showing the 2020 calendar will there be any updates for the 2021 calendar? or how do I fix it?
Thank you

Happy New Year! Today is the first day of 2021 and I review all cards that need in my schedule, but this add-on just shows the 2020 calendar and there are no previous/next buttons for years. Does this customize for 2020 only? Should I remove it from Anki? Another problem I had with this, was when I complete my cards on Ankidroid and sync, it doesn't sync when I back to the PC version and checked, just showed blank (no data) for those days, while "Review Heatmap" sync correctly with Ankidroid and record my passed cards and changed colors to orange or red.
Please update and fix this add-on or I think it useless.

This addon only shows recorded data after it was downloaded. You are probably looking for Review Heatmap addon by glutanimate.

having the same trouble with random black days, even though i've studied 100% on those days + random green days in february - otherwise perfect!

As indicated by others, doesn't show previous progress.

Looked great! Just trying to figure out how to remove the February data

works perfectly! for the people who are following the instructions of the comment to remove the February stuff and didnt know what exactly to delete from the data.json file just like me, then remove the following:
"1": {"20": 0.18, "21": 0.32, "22": 0.16, "23": 0.26, "24": 0.24, "25": 0.43, "26": 0.41, "27": 0.02, "28": 1.0, "29": 0.97},

Very interesting.
But it never shows real numbers.
I don't know what it counts, but it's not the cards in my deck.

Installed and it broke Anki hard. Now I'm having to manual remove the plug in. Desktop version. Running on Ubuntu OS.
Error note for devs:

Very good!
If anyone else is having trouble with the February "phantom data", just go on (inside Anki) "tools/add-ons/Percentage Heatmap" and click on "View Files".

It'll open the files of the add-on. Then open "userfiles\data.json" with the notepad and erase everything from the: "1", to the ",".

Good luck, guys!

For some reason, when I download the add-on, the Heatmap shows data progress from February, but in that month I didn't even have Anki or an account. Is there some way to resolve it ?
on 1592325517
I'm in dark mode and this looks fantastic. It's nice to have your progress laid out in front of you, very useful!

Works great, thank you!

Thank you for addon. One question, how to reset progress?
Comment from author
You can delete then reinstall the addon.

Sorry, this doesn't actually seem to be working for me. On version 2.1.22, Windows 10. Some days have data (even though the data for those days is incorrect), but 90% of past days say "no data" despite having studied on those days.
on 1587698382
Looks like garbage, ugly colour scheme.
Comment from author
Sorry about that. I believe you are using day mode. I've designed the color scheme around night mode only (more like copied the scheme from review heatmap night mode), and only found out later that it doesn't indeed look good on day mode. I'll probably get around it eventually to have separate color scheme for day mode and night mode.

Work great, better than the conventional
on 1586632645
Works fine, thanks
on 1584841869
it makes the mouse lag and did not load previous data properly.
Comment from author
By design, you won't be getting heatmap data from before you installed your addons / days when the addon wasn't used. I don't have the necessary skills for it, and I'm not sure it is even possible with what is stored in current Anki database.
on 1584080761
Won't work for me. Nothing shows up
Comment from author
Sorry for late comment, I updated the addon sometime ago, which may or may not have addressed the issue on Windows. If you ever see this comment, I'd urge you to try it again and see if it works.
on 1584014338
i will try it. thanks
