More Decks Stats and Time Left
As add-ons are programs downloaded from the internet, they are potentially malicious. You should only download add-ons you trust.
- 2.1.0-2.1.28+ (updated 2020-04-01)
To download this add-on, please copy and paste the following code into Anki 2.1:
If you were linked to this page from the internet, please open Anki on your computer, go to the Tools menu and then Add-ons>Browse & Install to paste in the code.
This add-on previously supported Anki 2.0. You can download the last version supporting 2.0 here. As Anki 2.0 has been discontinued, no support is available for this version.
All Anki 2.1.x Add-Ons
Would it be possible to add the options so that new cards (N) are only counted once in the 'Studied N cards in x hours today?'
Similar to the addon here: https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/2133933791
P.S: I suggest that the text be changed to "126 minutes left." rather than "126 minutes more." I had to edit the .py file to change that
Will there be an option to exclude decks from this statistic to see how many new reiviews, etc. one hast to absolve?
I got a Master Deck and "seasonal decks" I do.
> This is great - but would LOVE it if you could have it under the individual deck screen as well
If I'm not mistaken the calculation for time remaining is simply Total Cards / Average (Card/Min). The problem with doing this is that it doesn't take into account that "New" cards are by default seen more than one time per day. The default steps for "New" Anki cards are 1min and 10min meaning that you see New cards actually a minimum of *TWO* times that day.
As example, say I have 86 news and 19 learning (total 105) and an average of 4.9 cards/min. The calculation this addon gives for time remaining is 21 minutes. When in fact I see those 86 new cards a minimum of twice according to the default Anki steps. The actual estimated time should be 191 (86+86+19) divided by 4.9, which is 39 minutes. Let me know if this makes sense or I am mistaken.
Improvement implemented !!!!
I made some style changes that are a bit more minimalist if anyone is interested: https://www.codepile.net/pile/mPOVqaoq
Just copy and paste into the add-on file called mds_time_left.py.
