I updated this review on 2020-07-24 about the downvote from the same day. I really don't get it. The description of this add-on has four lines, the last line tells you how to contact the author. It's just four lines! Also "bug" is pretty common in German when referring to software errors.
Cannot find "Contact Author".
I want to copy all the notes of one deck and paste them in a different deck. However, because this add-on copy-and-pastes the notes immediately, and in the same deck, I have no idea how to do that.
I'm sure this would be a great add-on if the author actually gave some clear documentation on how to use it.
I needed this so badly to reset creation date without having to export my cards
I don't really understand what you means.
In particular, how do you know that they are not in the queue ? Normally, they'll be moved to the end of the queue, since they are the last cards added to the deck.
In the browser, you can take a look at the column "due" to know in which position the card is in the queue.
If you want cards to really be sorted by their "creation time" (value you can see in the browser), you can change the deck option, switch to "random" and switch back to "order in which cards were added" and they will be resorted correctly
What is "step by step" ? I must admit I do not understand your request.
I use it mostly to split cloze notes that are too large or disclose too much context.
@Arthur: Please "note" the following: In the browser it's not called "Edit > Copy and set to new" or "Edit > Copy notes, keep interval" as it is in github. Instead, it's called "note copy" and "full note copy", respectively. I find the latter not so clear.
edit in reply to response:
Thanks for updating the options.
"Card history" is not quite accurate. Chiefly, I referred to some card info like the ease interval and lapses.
edit 2: Unfortunately, the function "copy log" does not work for me. Could you maybe please have a look into it?
thank you very much
For some reason, after doing a copy, anki sync gets stuck at syncing media. You have to end the anki and restart..
