kind2anki - import words from Kindle Vocabulary Builder
1.69MB. Updated 2020-12-31.
A simple add-on which imports words from Kindle's Vocabulary Builder. It translates words to chosen language using Google Translate (through TextBlob library).
Note: Google Translate can improve its anti-abuse mechanisms in any moment, making this add-on useless. Sorry for that.
It imports words from last x days (1000 max), default is the number of days since last run.

2016-07-13 Added "Translate words" checkbox. You can import words without translating if you leave it unchecked.
2016-09-18 Apparently there's a problem with translation (more details: https://github.com/sloria/TextBlob/issues/137).
2016-09-19 Translating engine is now changed to http://mymemory.translated.net/, which is worse than Google Translate and has a limit for 1000 words per day.
Also, an "include usage example" option is added.
2017-05-03 Using transltr.org as a translation engine
2017-05-05 Importing words not older than x days.
2017-07-29 Change translation engine back to Google Translate, because transltr.org is closed.
2019-01-02 Add-on ported to Anki 2.1 (thanks Mike Hardy!)
2020-12-30 Fix warning at startup casued by nltk. Fix typo in "example".
As add-ons are programs downloaded from the internet, they are

Anki generates an error message when I start up with this add on enabled.
I liked it.
Description and translation are copied in the same field, divided by a hr tag. So I need to manually export the deck, remove the hr tag and import it again into two separete fields. Useless plugIn, I'm faster just creating a three-field-output directly from the vocab.db with an sql browser.
not working for me showing error while loading. after downloading the add on. anyone please help.
Helps separate reading (which should be fun, and flow) from vocabulary learning (which is focused and maybe not as fun). Works great for me.
