Excellent deck! I'd be very interested in getting the source spreadsheet from you as well, could you send it to veneer.phone.0u at icloud dot com? I'd appreciate it so much! Thank you.

Excellent and complete deck. A couple of pinyin issues (color codes don't line up with actual pronunciation) but otherwise it's perfect. 谢谢!

Hi Triceratops! Thank you for all three of your excellent decks. I was hoping you could share your workflow in adding the Google Voice audio to the cards. I've made Anki decks for the Encounters Chinese (Yale) series books one and two, and want to add audio to the cards. I will make them public when they are done. Depending on how laborious the GV process is, I might also be interested in borrowing your base spreadsheets to just copy and paste the files from yours to mine. But there will still be some cards that are not the same and would require me to use your GV workflow for that. I don't have Google Voice, but I'm sure I can manage it once I know what I need from it... Thanks, Eric Rasmussen hello.rasmus@gmail.com
Comment from author
Hi, thanks for the comment! I used the anki addon: Chinese Support Redux v0130 to add the color character. This addon adds an audio file but it's "robotic". I then used AwesomeTTS (Google Cloud Text-to-Speech) to overwrite that "robotic" audio to a more "human-like" pronunciation. At the time I used AwesomeTTS it had the option to choose a "Mandarin voice" to sound more Chinese instead of the "English" voice.
