Hello! This is my (Kat) Simplified Mandarin Deck – a comprehensive toolkit for mastering Simplified Mandarin! 🐼 This Anki deck is a labor of love, a continuously evolving work-in-progress in order to enhance proficiency in the Chinese language. This deck is mostly intended for people around HSK1-2 however, I am constantly expanding outwards to include higher level content as well!
What's in this deck you might ask...
Hanzi Writing Practice: A card type focused on learning how to practice writing hanzi based on the pinyin, example words (in pinyin), as well as the English meanings. All gifs are provided by Stroke Order.
Hanzi Readings: Learn how to read hanzi by understanding the English meaning, as well as the pronunciation in pinyin!
Speaking Practice: Practice speaking by reading words, saying the correct tones, and listen to a recording to check your accuracy.
Grammar Structure: Learn what pieces of grammar mean as well as how they are constructed with example sentences and tips provided.
Vocabulary: Expand your vocabulary with the hundreds of vocab cards provided in this deck.
Typing Practice: Type the correct pinyin and tones for a word to get a better grasp on keyboard input.
All cards are properly tagged with HSK level, hanzi, writing, grammar, vocab, and frequency according to Google Books Ngram Viewer
Update 7/26/2024: Added more cards, started the process of rerecording all the audio. Fixed a few typos.
