great addon. but need to upgrade, please

Please, could you update this addon to be compatible with the latest release? It is such a great addon.

Hi, I was using this add on for quite a while and all of a sudden I'm facing this error (below). What should I do? I'm sorry I don't have github account or I would have opened a complaint there.

Great add-on !!
I love your "c" shortcut but when I go back to the front of the card the background becomes "transparent" and the font size decreases.
Do you know how we can change that ?

I cannot really picture what you mean, maybe you could open a support thread on GitHub and post the picture there?

Great, thanks a lot!

a

Thanks

This is one of the best add-ons ever!
It's really useful to add little caveats / comments in the cards and making corrections. I use two screens and leave the editor open in one of the screens and this saves me a lot of time.
Also: really smart implementation of the "obscure mode".

Thanks a lot :)

Good work!

After turning off a lot of plug-ins, I find one isn't compatible“Opening the same window multiple time”

I think it's more likely that you're using an incompatible add-on which prevents it from working. A typical one is Frozen Fields by Glutanimate.

Awesome!!
Could you make its function when we open browse edit mode too and focus on this window?

Hi, I wouldn't be quite sure how that works, though.
Should the browser automatically search for the next reviewed card? That might be a bit annoying actually. If you a more detailed suggestion of how it should work, you can tell me (maybe follow the contact link, or contact me via email / Anki forum)

what can i say, he is the man!!

very nice add-on. Thanks.
I use the add-on «Opening the same window multiple time». I don't like having the same edit current window multiple times so in the config for the window add-on I set "EditCurrent": false,
I'd prefer to have an option to change the c shortcut because of add-on conflicts. [Update: Thanks for the prompt fix].

That's a great tip, thanks!
I will make the shortcut configurable in the next version update.
EDIT 08-10-2020: The newest version v0.3.0 brings the option to change the flip shortcut. Just go to "Tools > Add-ons > Persistent Editor > Config".

Great Add on!
However, it is currently not compatible with the most recent version of the AMBOSS add on.

Compatibility is not always an easy thing with Anki add-ons.
I'll try make future versions more compatible, but it's always a two-sided issue.
EDIT 08-10-2020: The newest version v0.3.0 should be much more compatible with other add-ons. I'd love if it works for you know. I've shortly tested it myself, and found it to be compatible.

Wonderful addon. While not as immersive as Edit Field during review, the extra tools the edit window gives you more than makes up for that. Also updates with the edits so you can see your changes in real time.
Thanks a ton!

Have a bug, when doing reviews, I will open the editor, but the next review card that comes up, does not populate the fields in the persistent editor and it continues to show the previous card's information.

Can you tell me which other add-ons you use?
I had this case before with another user, and it was because they used the popular "Opening the same window multiple time" add-on. Maybe you have the same issue?

Very clever, might be very useful for a dual-screen set-up! Thanks for sharing this!
