MedicFlashCards addon

0.01MB. Updated 2019-08-29.
The author has shared 2 other item(s).

This add-on is for people to sync their collections with Medicflashcards.com. Github link This is still being developed, so if you have questions on how to use it, please email me at john.pincock@hotmail.com Medicflashcards.com allows medical students to create upload share and rank medical flashcards and this addon allows them to rank and synchronise with the other users from the Anki Software. However to create an account, to share decks to your "groups", you have to use Medicflashcards in order to do so. I want to make the upload more streamline and only update changes, as at the moment I'm sending the whole collection back and forth. I've created the background necessary, but UPDATE 19/6/19: Added GitHub link here 2.1 version works well 2.0 version needs some more work Known bugs: if you Download your collection, restart Anki, then immediately upload your collection, Anki will throw a warning. It is fine to ignore that warning, your files will be ok. Other than that, everything seems okay. UPDATE 1/6/19 BUG FIX - I've added a progress display for when cards are being uploaded, this will hopefully mitigate anyone trying to close anki while the upload is happening. UPDATE 21/5/19 - added an integrity check to ensure uploaded collections aren't corrupted, in which case a new upload will start. UPDATE: 18/05/19 - both addon versions working, bugs listed above. UPDATE: 15/05/19 - porting changes for the addon, it should work perfectly for 2.0 BUT - ANKI 2.1 hasn't had the changes yes, so it won't work correctly for the next day UPDATE: 25/04/19 - 2.0 addon is working well, applied necessary changes, gives user feedback on manual download and upload button presses. - 2.1 I still need to make these same changes to 2.1 addon when i next have time to do so, so beware it will be buggy until the next update, hopefully next week. UPDATE: 19/04/19 - fixed file locations - attempted some threading on the 2.0 version, still working on getting it working well on the 2.1 version
