This Deck contains the 2580 simplified Hanzi that differ from their traditional counterparts (a list of characters that DON'T differ from their traditional counterparts can be referenced here:
http://www.sayjack.com/chinese/chinese-characters-both-traditional-and-simplified/).
The main motivation to build this deck is that at least 300 of these simplified characters have multiple traditional origins, which are harder to reference using automated Simplified->Traditional converters.
It is ordered by frequency of use and HSK level. I think this deck can be useful if you already know a bunch of simplified characters and want to expand your knowledge to traditional ones.
Maybe a good way to learn simplified characters is my other Anki set: Most Common 3000 Chinese Hanzi Characters (
https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/39888802)
Of the 2580 characters in this deck, only 1096 are part of the HSK and 1221 are amongst the 3000 most frequently used characters. I recommend setting the FrequencyRank as the Sorting Field and suspending/deleting all but the most common notes. Alternatively, searching for HSK:#N/A to suspend all cards not in the HSK.
This Deck is based on the "Simplified to Traditional Chinese Conversion Table" from
sayjack.com :
http://www.sayjack.com/chinese/simplified-to-traditional-chinese-conversion-table/
Using the order from Jun Da's Modern Chinese Character Frequency List:
http://lingua.mtsu.edu/chinese-computing/statistics/char/list.php?Which=MO
Includes HSK level (for easy filtering/focus), audio, pinyin, stroke number, radical, meaning and stroke order (animated and font-based when available).
Most info is taken from the MDBG Chinese Dictionary (
http://www.mdbg.net/chindict/chindict.php) but the characters link by default to the Yellow bridge dictionary (
http://www.yellowbridge.com/chinese/dictionary.php). For readibility, the characters are not formatted as links, but they are, I highly recommend clicking on them to see more info about them (specially if info is unclear or the animated diagram is missing --couldn't get them all).
This deck is best used with Reinaert Albrecht's Chinese Stroke Order Font, download it from here:

After the file is downloaded, double-click on it to open it in the desktop
program.
At this time, it is not possible to add shared decks directly to your
AnkiWeb account - they need to be added from the desktop then synchronized
to AnkiWeb.
Very helpful for me to recognize which simplified characters correspond to which traditional characters.
Much more complete compared to other Anki decks; however, it still doesn't seem to have all characters (for example, it's missing some on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ambiguities_in_Chinese_character_simplification), but they are few and far between.
Also missing some stroke diagram files that Anki says should be present, but that's not a deal breaker in my book.
