Test your recall of the pinyin (Mandarin pronunciation) and English meanings, from Chinese characters
The back of each card includes clickable links to the relevant character entries of hanzicraft and purpleculture, so you can look up more detailed information about each character [1], and check for and verify any potential mistakes in this deck.
What this deck does NOT (yet) include:
- multi-character words
- inverse direction cards, i.e. from pinyin pronunciation or English meanings to Chinese characters
The data was taken and slightly hand-sanitized from:

-

[1] We explicitly opted out of including wiktionary here, as that also includes irrelevant information, such as the Japanese and Old Chinese meanings and pronunciations of those characters, which you have to scroll past, wasting precious time. This deck assumes you are focusing on modern Standard Mandarin.
