Obligatory upvote for all the work that has gone into this. At the very start of my Chinese learning journey, but I'll be sure to use this. Found on reddit

卡片内容是非常棒的,词义准确,排版工整,语音也都是母语人士配的,但作者可以考虑优化一下售价,目前还是稍有些贵了。

Unfair thums down. I know the author from chinese-forums and he always puts a lot of effort and time into his projects. Demanding this to be free is telling him that his time is worthless. You can ask him niceley to drop the price, but not rudely demand this.

Pretty good demo. I'll buy the full deck in a couple of months, after I save some money and finish my workbook. Thank you for your hard work, it really looks like a premium deck, and I'm planning to buy the practical cursive deck as well (I'll comment back after I study those decks).
I've read comments above, and they are wrong if they think that free software means unpaid labor. This deck is clearly a demo.

This could have been a very good deck cause it is the only one that contains 10k words but it sadly deserves my downvote because:
1) the deck is only a demo and the full deck is charged (I don't care about 30% of it being sent to UNICEF or whatsoever, the principle of Anki is to be free and open source)(and even if the full deck were of an incredible quality, it can't be worth $40).
2) The audio may have been made by natives, it is of very bad quality and nowadays, TTSes achieve a better result.
3) The info format is hard to read that accessibility features are inconsistent where in other decks they work.
I may change this vote if my review is taken into account.

1a. Damien Elmes, the creator of Anki and arguably the final arbiter of these principles you speak of, has said that people are free to sell the flashcards they create (faqs.ankiweb.net/can-i-use-anki-in-a-company-or-school.html). I'm currently working on a deck to teach cursive Chinese, which will probably cost more than $1000 to develop. I wouldn't be able to hire a calligrapher or other freelancers for this project if I didn't charge for my products. You are not entitled the the fruits of our labor.
1b. If you look at the UNICEF donation page (gofundme.com/f/mega-mandarin) and do some math, you'll find that there are plenty of people who would disagree with you regarding the cost of the deck. As of this date I haven't heard any complaints from my customers regarding the quality of the flashcards.
2. I respectfully disagree. Furthermore, you'll have trouble getting a TTS engine to spit out common alternate readings for the words on this vocabulary list. I have paid native speakers to record audio for all the homographs.
3. I don't mention it on the product page, but I'm happy to share the CSV and Python files I used to create the deck with any of my customers if they want to reformat the flashcards to their liking. If there is an incompatibility with screen readers or some other accessibility feature I'm willing to help my customers troubleshoot a solution.
