Lyrics/Poetry Cloze Generator (LPCG) is an add-on for Anki to help with studying long passages of verbatim text, like poetry or song lyrics. The documentation contains information on recommended study techniques and how to use the add-on, and can be read here. The latest version is LPCG 1.4.2. Excellent! This makes memorizing poems and passages of text quite efficient. I just create a deck for each: e.g. poems like Sonnet 116, Jabberwocky, and Psalms from the Bible. I am testing it now with the book of John in the New Testament.

Found this very useful even for larger works. More difficult to recite as there is less flow between lines that can span across different chapters but when used for taking just a selection of quotes you would like to test yourself on, this has been a very good add-on.

Absolutly loveit. The concept is actually quite simple but genius. You get a cloze card, wich automattically imports previous lines.
with custom study you can also keep the lines in order, if you want to review one fully. So this is also a perfect substitute for cloze overlapper. Really love it. Thank you.
