Swedish Sentences

0.29MB. 0 audio & 0 images. Updated 2021-02-06.
The author has shared 40 other item(s).

This is a collection of Swedish sentences, sorted from easiest (most simple) to hardest (most complex). This deck begins with very simple sentences, and slowly gets harder as you progress. -=-=-=-=-=- — Why study sentences? Memorizing the meaning of individual words... is pretty much pointless. If you want actual fluency, you need to see a word in as many example sentences as possible. That makes the language start to flow in your head. That shows you how to use the word. How it is combined with the other words. And many other things. We think that effort always converts into fluency. This is not true. If you memorize the meaning of individual words you won't get fluent and you will spend a ton of effort. But studying sentences is the real deal. Is the method of learning that actually converts effort to fluency. Get some basic grammar, some basic vocabulary, then just dive into sentences and more sentences until you're fluent. -=-=-=-=-=- https://frequencylists.blogspot.com.br/

Thanks a lot for this! It would be interesting to open-source the code you used to generate the deck and post it in some sub-Reddit. Nonetheless, great deck!

This deck looks very helpful, thank you for compiling it and for including audio. I notice, however, that it currently only consists of 1,000 cards even though the second deck claims "Part one contains the first 3000 cards." What happened to the remaining 2,000 I wonder?

This would be awesome if the audio wasn't completely wrong. Half the times it's impossible to understand what is said because it's completely wrong pronounced. I'd much rather have no audio and the Swedish sentence (in the question) instead. That would be very much appreciated. If anyone can tell me how to do this and remove the audio I'll give a thumb up

Edit: I got it working on android by:
1) training the deck
2) click edit note
3) click on the Card: Card1 (below tag)
4) replace audio with swedish and remove swedish in back

I just finished this deck and I wish I could give it 100 thumbs up! There are a few duplicates and some audio glitches here and there but they are not major. Thank you so much for creating these decks.

Great variety

I got this for a Chinese friend who already knows basic Swedish to expand her vocabulary and drill pronunciation. Set the order of cards presented to random. Very useful. The only downside is that the sentence intonation is slightly wrong in a lot of the audio.
