This helped a lot thank you!
I'm new to Anki so it was kinda hard to practice at first but the deck goes along with the textbook so it helped a lot.
However, I feel like the audio is off with the actual pronunciation.

Nice job

this deck has been extremely useful for me in taking chinese classes on and off over the past few years, thank you for all your work! my one question though is is there any way for me to edit the audio? i'm not very advanced with making my own anki cards so on the cards i've noticed the audio to be wrong i've only been making note of it in the notes section of the card, which of course isn't ideal when i still have it ingrained from hearing it each time.

1. The text component is good although the tones are wrong in approximately 20-50% of all the words.... it would honestly be better with them removed instead of just wrong.
2. The audio is terrible quality and just plain wrong...... zhao3 is said jiao4???
I have personally chosen to delete all the audio cards as they are going to ruin one's pronunciation, and I am keeping the text cards but having to update all the tones.

Thanks a lot for this!
It's a great deck, but I found out that 兴趣 is missing (lesson 1.17.2).

Great. One question: how do I change to traditional but maintain the color coding? I switched the {{color}} tag to {{traditional}} for the card templates, but I guess there's somewhere else I need to update to get the color coding working.
Comment from author
This one is not possible in the current deck because there is no field for this. For example, field # 3 is called Traditional and it displays the character in black. Field # 2 is called Color and displays it in color but for simplified characters. I remember making these cards with an anki addon that would automatically fill in the "missing fields" automatically. It will automatically grab info from field # 1 (Hanzi in simpl) and autofill field # 2. There might be a way to tell the autofill addon to autofill field # 2 with field # 3 instead. The addon is this one: https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/1128979221 and you would have to manually erase the color field to then automatically redo it with traditional. Honestly I don't know if it would work because the addon might be looking for Hanzi which is in simplified already. You could give it a try if you feel confident. Sorry I can be of more help.

Very helpful deck.
Note: pinyin appears to be auto-generated, pulled from the first result on MDBG. Sometimes that refers to a different word with the same character. Be careful, double-check the pinyin if it seems wrong!
Comment from author
Yep you are correct. Fortunately, in my experience of doing the cards and after I created the deck, this has happened for the few minority of cards. Also, when this happens the color and the pinyin are different so that is a clue.

Really useful

This helped me so much to catch up in my Chinese class. The tone colors are genius and they are changeable in the CSS. Audio is great. Occasional helpful notes. I am using the Level 2 deck now (which I have some problems with) and I miss how much I enjoyed this deck.

Awesome. Btw I believe that the intonation on 王 is incorrect. It should be second tone.

Well made & comprehensive, as far as I can tell.

Good!

Excellent

Follows the textbook very well!

Exactly what I was looking for - teaching basic Hanzi characters by associating them directly with the Pinyin plus English AND pronouncing the word at the same time! Brilliant!
