edit: I haven’t had the chance to test the change yet but thanks in advance for the effort you’re putting into this!
That addon should be integrated in main application as a status bar for cards browser showing info about current list.
Much easier way to locate total cards in a deck. . .just be careful b/c when you create a "custom study" option, anki TEMPORARILY takes those cards out of your main deck and puts them into a "custom study option," and so if you go to the main deck, this add-on will make it seem as though those cards have disappeared, when really they are in the custom study deck.
So for instance, I have a deck with 600+ cards. I chose "custom study" for all cards. I reviewed about 300 of them. Then the next day I went to the main deck, and it showed my total cards were only ~300, and I was like, WTF!?!?
Anyhow, if you delete the custom study deck which should be located at the top of all your decks, those cards will be put back into the anki deck, and your total count for that deck will go back to normal. : )
But more Information would be nicer!
And does it well! This should be incorporated into vanilla Anki.
The only thing that could make this better is if it were part of the core program. I recommend this addon for everyone.
The card count does not include the cards in subdecks.
