Maximum image height in card editor

<10kB. Updated 2019-02-25. Supports both Anki 2.0.x and 2.1.x.

This add-on allows limiting the height of the images displayed in the Anki card editor so that all the fields are (possibly) visible together. To change the maximum image height, go to Anki 2.1: Tools > Add-ons > Maximum image height in card editor > Config and set the variable max-height equal to the pixels you want. Anki 2: Tools > Add-ons > max_img_height > Edit.. and set the variable MAXHEIGHTPX equal to the pixels you want Changelog Anki 2.1 v1.0.1 (24/02/2019) Fix image HTML modified by addon v1.0 (09/07/2018) Initial release Anki 2 v0.1 (12/04/2015) Initial release Issues Report any bug in the GitHub issues page of the project. The Anki 2 version is unsupported. Comments on this page like "It doesn't work" are completely unuseful (also because I cannot reply on this page). Especially useful for a 4k monitor, I signed in to give this add-on a thumbs-up. I totally agreed with the comment on 7/15/2019. If it would be a universal rule applicable everywhere in ANKI, this add-on would be even better.

Excellent! I wish there was an add-on with the same functionality, but everywhere (not just in card editor). Image resizer only applies when making new cards (besides it makes the images blurry if you're using 4K display settings)

Simply make it a lot easier and less cumbersome to make cards.

This is awesome, thank you so much! The problem I had with the other one was that it wouldn't work with images that didn't have a background and it also distorted the images. This one has neither of these problems and is probably the best solution out there!

Works great, great job.

Had a problem where it stopped working suddenly because of a conflict with another addon (not sure which), but I added an 'a' to the name of the file in the addons folder to change the load order and now it's fine. Try that if it's not working for you.

I don't work with images a lot; but these QOL changes are appreciated!

Very useful, thanks!

I work with a lot of fields. This add-on has made my life much easier when adding images to them. No more endless scrolling to get to the lower fields!
