Stats: Expected number of cards

<10kB. Updated 2013-01-23. Only supports Anki 2.0.x.
The author has shared 1 other item(s).

Description

Displays in the stats for each deck (or the current one) the number of expected cards per day, according to their frequency. For example, a card with a frequency of 3 days count as 1/3 card per day. I think it gives a better forecast of the studies, because a card with a 3-day frequency have good chances to be seen in something like 6 days (and so on). So if you want to really decrease your workload, you have to decrease the frequency of the cards having a high one, and not to reset the frequency of any card by not failing :-)

As add-ons are programs downloaded from the internet, they are potentially malicious. You should only download add-ons you trust.

This add-on previously supported Anki 2.0. You can download the last version supporting 2.0 here. As Anki 2.0 has been discontinued, no support is available for this version.

Works as promised.

Does exactly what it should. Though the limitations of that indicator are obvious, as explained by the other review (but that really shouldn't justify a bad rating).
[I am still hoping for someone to fix the Forecast (right now it only takes into account the next review of a card, which makes it completely inaccurate if you add many new cards)....]

(v0.2) Interesting

Probably makes sense only for the short term, because it considers only intervals (“frequencies” in the description), showing the sum of “1/ivl” values of cards. In the long term, intervals change according to eases; however, that would take too much time to calculate for the statistics window (this addon already takes significant time), and cannot — simply and precisely — account for lapses, suspensions, deletions and additions.

Shows nothing but the header for some of my decks; probably because they don’t contain any cards directly.
