Dvorak keys

This is mostly a variant of the “Left Hand Reps“ add-on, without remapping the buttons. Adds review keys that are somewhat convenient for the dvorak keyboard. Use the keys in the top left letter row; use the little finger for “1”/“again”, ring, middle and index fingers for “2”, “3”, “4“. (The point is to remember the finger positions. The letters on the keys are unimportant in this context.) This is similar to just using the “1”–“4” (or “0”–“7” with “Left Hand Reps“) keys with two advantages: the hand movement is reduced, shifting one, not two rows from the home position, and it works for those layouts with remapped numbers, like classic and programmer Dvorak. Of the eight home position keys, there aren’t four in a row that aren’t already used for other functions, (“add”, “edit”, &c.), but those that are free can be used as well: left index for “1”, right index to ring fingers for “2”, “3”, “4”. More information, including hints for QWERTY-users, and links to report issues &c. can be found at github. (Updated description, 2012-04-14) (Removed right hand top row, clashes with “replay”, 2012-04-21) (2012-08-10: Link to github.) (Added bottom left row. Never thought of that before. 2012-11-30)

As add-ons are programs downloaded from the internet, they are potentially malicious. You should only download add-ons you trust.

This add-on previously supported Anki 2.0. You can download the last version supporting 2.0 here. As Anki 2.0 has been discontinued, no support is available for this version.
