At first, the amount of options seemed a bit daunting to me. In fact however, it's quite simple to use.
edit 2020-02-04: What do fuzz_days and fuzz_due do exactly? What is the difference between the two? I do use DeFuzz and Load Balancer.
edit 2021-03-05: Seems like Anki is implementing at least parts of ReMemorize, since new Anki versions are not compatible anymore with ReMemorize.

fuzz_days is for positive numbers, fuzz_due is for negative numbers. If you killed off the fuzz with DeFuzz on young cards, you won't see any fuzzing.

I just discovered this gem. this is amazing!!!!! say, is there anyway i can set the number of cards for each incremental step when repositioning? I usually use "randomize order" to reposition large number of cards, but it shuffles the order in which the cards were created.

The idea you suggested requires writing a separate gui. I'm afraid that would be too time consuming and not something I need. But a good idea non the less.

very GOOD download if u havent coz ur wasting ur time, u will have more time with this addon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Changed my review- the add on is now working great with 35 when using the addon during reviews. Thanks for updating!

ffs. https://github.com/lovac42/ReMemorize/issues/28

Productivity just multiplied

Thanks for the very helpful add-on! It really helps me postponing incremental writing cards of my 420 page novel into the far future, hopefully leading to an integer overflow, so that eventually the novel will have already been written in the past!
Still awaiting your orders!

A true fan. I'm working on it, incrementally. Just have to clean the code and run tests. Software craftsmanship takes time.

the goat of all addons

This is powerful.

One of the most useful addons out there. Read through all of what this addon can do, there's a lot of nuance to it if you want to really maximize its potential. Otherwise just set a default reschedule time and go from there

Looking forward to the next release. I understand that there should be one sometime this month given the 6 month development cycle, and I can't wait to start using this add-on.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Very useful

Thank you useful functionality!

I can now change the ease and not rely on hitting "hard" or "easy" lol

Thank you!

I most often use this to reschedule mature cards that I feel I need a sooner reminder on. Is there a way to randomize when the card is rescheduled without using browser? For example, making default days on ask a random number between (-3 to -7) so that it randomly reschedules the card between 3 and 7 days from now?
Comment from author
Check configs, fuzz_due was added in 1.3.

Worked great but I have a problem with cards maturing even while using the"-" before the numbers. How can I avoid cards changing their interval and maturing?
Comment from author
Check configs, maybe someone changed it if you are downloading unofficial versions.
Default: Learning new cards are set to auto graduate. Learning lapsed cards will be delayed. (red number cards).
Interval should not change for review (green numbers) cards.

very useful

I love that you're still supporting anki 2.0. I'm never moving from 2.0. It has all i need.
To be honest I'm having a tough time understanding how to use this. I just want a quick way to tell anki "show me this card again in 2 weeks" or something like that.
Ok I watched the anking video and I'm starting to understand it.

I support 2.0 because I love WebKit.
2 weeks is 14 days, so input 14.

very very useful for GRE decks

awesome

Is there a way to reschedule a card between dates during the review? Ie, between 1/1/2020-2/1/2020
Comment from author
The two addons stacks in the Anki scheduling pipeline. ReMemorize will change the next interval (e.g. 30d). DeFuzz will trim the fuzz (e.g. 3%). LBS will balance the load (e.g. 31d). See the picture guide on the DeFuzz addon. Each one of my addons takes care of one task similar to Unix commands.
RE2:
How would that work? It doesn't sound like you are looking to ReMemorize, but to RanDomize.

Works great. Thank you.

My new favorite plugin! Can't describe how much easier it is with this plugin. In the subject I study, there is a lot of stuff I'm already familiar with and/or know but I still want to make Anki cards for those topics. The option to immediately schedule them in a month or two is amazing! I schedule even new cards. I think I have a pretty good sense of when I'll forget something. And it's definitely not a constant 1 then 3 then 5 or whatever the Anki default is. It depends on the card. I will gladly spend extra time for scheduling.
Only thing I would add is a calendar like for example on heatmap, which you can click and immediately schedule a card for that date, without having to type in the date or days.

It's not meant for beginners.

Thank you

.

Is there a "ReLearn" option? By "ReLearn" I mean an option that would reset the card as new, but count your wrong answer (the one that you chose to ReLearn) as the first learning step, so I don't have to do it manually?
Basically:
Reschedule 0 ⇒ forget the card and make it new;
ReLearn ⇒ forget the card and make the first repetition into the first learning step.
(another way of doing this would be pressing "Again", then resetting the ease factor back to 250%; but that would actually use the lapses learning steps, rather than a new card config)
Thanks!

There is no such option in the current version. I'm afraid such a feature would screw up the stats, but anyone can write it as a separate addon.

thank

fucking good addon!!!!!!
this is really what i want!

Excellent idea. Only thing I would want added is a option to reschedule cards randomly into a span of time in the pop-up (i.e. 5:20 would be reschedule this card between 5-20 days from now). Or even more ideal would be 5:21/12 (reschedule between five days from now to the 21st of December). Would really help along with your extra buttons addon, so I could have a button to see a card one last time before an upcoming test without having to manually try to spread them out along that span of time. Heck, you could even put a load-leveler on it if you really wanted to get fancy.

I like this addon.
I am looking for a bulk reschedule option to retreat selected cards to their previous interval.

I think I am going to really like this app... but will someone please explain how to download the associated "buttons" that are linked on this page? I would appreciate it, thank you

If you're on 2.1.10+ just download the .ankiaddon file and drag and drop it into the Anki download manager. For 2.0, download the 2.0.zip file and upzip it into your addon folder.

I'm using Anki 2.0; I'm in the browser and trying to change the due date without modifying the interval of multiple new cards. When I tried the reposition option described it does not change their due date just the number queue, what am I missing here?
Edit: it worked had to use this add-on for Anki 2.0 to change configuration mentioned in the description https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/2058082580

Very useful to reschedule cards if you've fallen behind reviews or need to make sure you review a card before an exam.

Great add-on!
Is there a way to use these features within the browser for batch editing (for example, select a set of cards to reschedule to a certain day without changing their intervals?)
Edit: Thanks! It worked.
Edit 2: Are hotkeys ever going to become a thing?

Yes, look at images. "Reschedule" changes due and ivl. "Reposition" changes due date only. Make a copy of your collection and play around with it.
re_E2: Hotkeys for the reviewer are already included, check the configs, read the readme. Browser HK involves patching something else, that'll cause another level of conflict we should avoid. But I'm not against extensions which anyone can write.

Which was good, it got better.

It's really helpful. Now I change Due Day and Interval individually. Really an awesome addon!

Addon with a lot of options, has customization of hotkeys 👍 Originally got it as replacement for quick rescheduler addon, but this one can do so much more.
Question: what does the dialogue "You have 1 sibling(s) out of bound, reschedule them?" mean exactly? Does it mean that there are siblings of this card in other decks that are due? And to what date/ interval would they be rescheduled?

This is when a card lapses, it will check the siblings' due date. So if your card lapse with a 1 day interval, and the siblings have 1+ years interval, that popup asks you if you want to reschedule the siblings as well. It will randomize between 7-20 days for each out of bound sibling. You can turn this off in configs by setting "reschedule_siblings_on_again" to false. The config.md file contains this information and you can see it in the addonmanager when you change configs.

Nice!

Thank you for adding the option to bury siblings automatically after a reschedule! You are a life saver. No exaggeration. I have one more issue though. I am not able to reconfigure the hotkey. I wanted the hotkey to be r. As I am used to activating reschedule window with r from quick rescheduler add-on of anki 2.0.
Edit: Reply. Thank you so much for the information. I have replaced hot key from Ctrl+M to g. It works with g.

Nice idea, I'll see if I can work that into the code in the next update. thx
Edit: The r key is the replay key, you can not replace system keys on 2.1. It will cause problems for other addons. Try using a key manager addon instead. I don't know of any for 2.1 yet.

This is well and good, but what does this add-on DO? It doesn't say.

offers very useful options to modify the scheduling of cards.
(Among other things) it replaces the popular "Quick reschedule in reviewer" and improves it: You can reset cards, the ease value is not overwritten and you have logging. These options alone make it a great add-on.
Thanks!
