Kanji Words for JLPT

0.23MB. Updated 2016-08-27. Only supports Anki 2.0.x.

Kanji Words 0.2 for Anki 2 This addon loads example words from a vocabulary list and displays them after the rest of the answer text when reviewing a kanji character. This information is intended to aid the learning of the character, rather than needing to be memorized itself. Usage: 1) The deck's Note Type must contain 'kanji_words' in order for the words to be displayed. The Note Type name can contain other words (separated by spaces) as long as one of them is 'kanji_words'. 2) The Note must contain a field named 'Kanji', the contents of this field will be looked up in the word list, and the matching vocab displayed with the answer. This field on the note should contain a single kanji character. 3) The words are added after the last HTML span used on the card. If your card template doesn't use spans, you can add <span/> at the end of the Back Template on the Card Types window to ensure the words are added at the end of the card. Make sure you do have a span on the Back Template of the cards, otherwise it may mess up the card display. You can still add text (or other HTML) after this span on the template if you want it to appear after the vocab words. The words are sorted so that the highest grade (hopefully the more common) words are shown first. The font style used can be changed by defining a css class named kanji_words in the Card's styling. Example: .kanji_words { font-family: sans-serif; font-size:20px; color: blue; background-color: white; } By default only the first eight vocab entries for each character are displayed, but this can be adjusted in the plugin source. Setup screenshots: 1) 2) 3) Customization: The parameters for configuring the behaviour are close to the top of the plugin source, under "Adjustable Parameters" The name of the field to look up can be changed by altering kanji_field_patt in the plugin source, this can be a regex. The field identified by this should contain a single kanji character. To change the special note tag that causes the plugin to activate ('kanji_words'), you can alter model_tag. The Note Type name in your deck can contain multiple words separated by spaces. Change MAX_ENTRY_WORDS to a larger number if you wish more than 8 vocab entries to be shown per kanji Thanks to Guillaume Viry for the original Anki 1 kanji words plugin. Great addon

I've update kanji_words.txt from tanos.co.uk information. Merge this next two text blocks and replace old kanji_words.txt in addon directory.
