**Updated with images in place of some text that wasn't showing up properly** Congratulations! You are now entering Phase 2 - the vowels of Thai. If you haven't learned to read the consonants yet then get the heck out of here and study the Phase 1 deck first: https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/3647082801 Otherwise, carry on. This is a complete vowel deck for learning ALL Thai vowels and vowel combinations. Cards include audio, transcription, and characteristics of each vowel. I strongly encourage you to not only read but to write the vowels as you learn them. After you finish the vowels, you can start to read (kind of). To keep your motivation levels up and test your skills, try the words in these practice decks: Simple Thai Words I: https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/1047316535 Simple Thai Words II: https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/957853929 Kru Gaan's (ครูกานต์) complete read Thai course: Phase 1 - Consonants: https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/3647082801 Phase 2 - Vowels: https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/4636594 Phase 3 - Consonant Classes: https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/519530098 Phase 4 - Tone Rules: https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/1918849490

Excellent. I have noticed when studying the Thai children's alphabet song that some vowels and combinations are missing such as ฦ lue (not to be confused with ฤ (rue) which is included however I haven't seen this used so maybe this is a redundant character. Some of the other combinations however I think it can be worked out using combinations demonstrated in this deck. After this my Thai friend is quite impressed with my reading ability
