Reviews

great

I don’t understand why some Anki decks are so bizarre. I deleted this deck because the first card I saw was with a man trying to slip his hand into the woman’s panties and the other is heading towards her bra. Sick. Thanks for wasting my time.

I wish I'd found this deck before making my own very similar deck on my own!

I'm not sure I agree with the other reviewer who said the deck doesn't introduce the most common words first--although it might not introduce the absolutely most common words at the very beginning (I'm guessing those would be words like yo, tú, soy, etc), to me the words it does introduce, and the order it introduces them in, is very understandable and useful--it introduces weather, seasons, people related to you, rooms in a house, foods, modes of transportation, animals, parts of the body, for example. So, yes, it does focus primarily on nouns (with a few verbs too), and for that it is excellent.

Just what I was looking for, thank you fore sharing!

I love this deck! Thanks so much for making and sharing it! It’s exactly what I was hoping to find.

Best deck of the top rated ones

muy bien cartas

pictures, awesome. Sounds would be great too

Best deck I've found yet! Great photo choices, and I appreciate the absence of English.

Great deck, but missing some things
Great picture choices and the audio quality! I'm not a native speaker so I don't know if there are any mistakes, but it seems like a successful, basic deck to me.
But it's missing a lot of words... and I mean "top 25 most common" words. It's also sorely lacking in verbs. I've added about missing 100 cards so far just going through most common word lists. This deck has been a great launching-off point, but because I'm a beginner and I'm worried about making mistakes with my custom cards, well, I was hoping to find a deck that contained the 1,000 most common words... and this one doesn't.
Also worth noting that the cards aren't organized in steps (e.g. learn the most common 250, then top 1,000, then the rest). So you'll want to suspend everything, look up a list of most common words, and manually pick and choose what to study. There are category tags you can use ("travel," "art," "adjectives").
TL;DR great starting place right now, especially if you've taken a Spanish class or two and just want a few hundred more nouns... But for me, I had to add in a lot of missing cards.
