Pomodore (Tomato Clock Port)

0.33MB. Updated 2019-08-24. Only supports Anki 2.1.x.

Does not work for everyone Disclaimer: This is alpha software, I can't guarantee the functionality. Always keep backups! This addon augments your spaced repetition learning with the Pomodore technique. In brief: Work for 20 minutes and take a break of 5 minutes. You can learn more it on wikipedia Forked from Tomato Clock 2.0 Features not supported: - graphs - speed mode (use https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/1046608507 instead)(tomato/normal mode is the same) I am not the author of the original addon and simply worked myself through the errors. I expect there to be bugs. The source code lives at https://github.com/Aliuakbar/Pomodore You can open issues there. I can't answer your questions here.

Use the fix that is given below and it works on the most updated version of Anki

Used to work great, but I updated my Anki and it doesn't work anymore. I used to love growing more tomatoes with this add on.

Here's a temporary fix if it's not working for you...

Go to Addons > Pomodore > View files > TomatoClock > lib
Open the kkLib file and make these changes:
from aqt import *
#from aqt.downloader import download
from aqt.utils import showInfo, openLink

very useful addon
I used to get errors upon starting anki or finishing a deck but unchecking "show statistics" in the settings seemed to fix it for me. It might have been due to conflicting addons on my setup.

Although UI always displays 5min rest time,you can change this on the settings (the UI will still show 5 mins rest)

not working with latest anki 2.1.20. please update it

love it

Excellent. I agree with the comments below. The UI always displays a 5 minute break. My only issue is that it interferes with the More Overview Stats 2.1 add on. I don't necessarily mind toggling between them, but it'd be cool to be able to use them simultaneously.

Works a few times and then ANKI tells me it's bugging out. GITHUB doesn't have a way to notify code issues
on 1579507369
very good addon!
but even the tomato mode is 10/2 15/3 20/4 25/25 ...
the UI always display 10/5 15/5 20/5 25/5 ...

Thanks for updating this!

Great add-on. Very handy. Excited to see what the future updates.
on 1573442945
I see in the settings you can change the break time but on the main screen it always says the break is 5 mins... Will the break be what is says in the settings or on the main screen being always 5 mins?

thx very much

Great to have a built in pomodoro timer - means I don't forget to stop/start it like I do with a separate timer.
on 1565896054
Wonderful addon. Thank you so much for porting this.
EDIT: Can't open any issues on Github. Could you look into that?
on 1565879321
LOVE IT! Whats the difference between tomato and normal mode?
on 1565826347
I was so excited but doesn't work. Thanks for giving it a go.
Edit: works, great job sir.
