Description

A revised version of Nayr's 5k deck. I took the most recent version I could find and made all the fixes that I found in comments. I also edited the new audio for the missing notes to remove background noise and make the loudness match the original ones.

Sample (from 5000 notes)

Cards are customizable! When this deck is imported into the desktop program, cards will appear as the deck author has made them. If you'd like to customize what appears on the front and back of a card, you can do so by clicking the Edit button, and then clicking the Cards button.

Thank you for revising Nyar’s wonderful deck! ^_^
The audio is very clear, but has some metallic quality to it, presumably due to the original recording equipment.

I threw away the vocabulary fields and made it into a sentence-only deck (reading and listening comprehension), which suits better the way I learn.

I'm torn on rating this, as I'd give it a sideways rating. Main reason being I see no clear way to highlight the focus vocabulary within the full sentence and furigana sentence. It looks like there may have been some past effort to have the morphman addon play a role in such highlighting, but this does not work in any way shape or form, even with the add-on actively installed (don't get me started on the horrible port of said addon).

The optimal way I was planning to use this deck was to have the front side of the card show the complete sentence, with the key vocab highlighted within it, and furigana only present over other areas of the sentence (except the key vocab). This deck doesn't make that vision easily attainable unfortunately.

It's a very good deck to practice reading, but do you know how to setup it to show de cards by the reference number? My anki is configurated to show the cards by the order in which they were added, but in the first day it was showing cards with the index classification of 380 like in the sentence "I bought a new TV" and 351 "I'm going to report the results of the investigation". Is there a way to show from the first or my anki is bugged?

I really like the deck. But may I ask if there is a difference between this deck and the Core 2000? Which one would be better to have? Hope you can answer my question. Thank you.

Found a mistake. It says that the "の" in:
彼が言ったのは本当だ
is possessive, which i found is wrong. In this sentence, "の" turns the verb into a noun. itta no = speech/the thing he said
Comment from author
Good point. It should be "nominalizer" for that sentence.

It's harder than Core2/6k deck but worth it.
