FlashFork

0.01MB. Updated 2016-02-06. Only supports Anki 2.0.x.

Description

FlashFork v0.1 This add-on and its wiki (with screenshots) is on GitHub, here: https://github.com/sillsdev/flashfork/wiki EXCERPT: Flashfork is an add-on for the popular Anki flashcard program that adds a feature to the Tools menu for copying the currently-selected deck of notes/flashcards. It was originally packaged together with another add-on, FlashGrid. A help page with screenshots is available here: https://github.com/sillsdev/flashgrid/wiki/Getting-started-by-cloning-an-existing-deck-with-FlashFork WARNING: The reason Anki does not include this functionality is that copying cards for the purpose of using them in a single deck could easily be misused instead of properly creating additional flashcard types. Use at your own risk; it is possible that it will start making incomplete copies if Anki changes in the future.

I don't know if another app would be better

Flashfork simply made a clone of the source deck and kept them separate by renaming note type.
Now I can chop up the clone to create small lesson decks.

Saved me from having to build a deck from scratch

I needed to clone my kana decks because they were kana to roumaji only, and I didn't want to make new cards for that purpose. Perhaps I was only being lazy about the matter, but thanks a lot anyway!
