Description

The deck is based on Dragon Quest 1 on Super Nintendo (SNES). This is all the dialogue from the game. Preview *CONTENT* - Japanese dialogue - Screenshot of japanese dialogue - English translation - Definition for each word *THE DECK* - The japanese text was taken from various japanese websites. Some words written in kana in the game are written with kanji in the deck. The only official english version of the game is the NES version : Dragon Warrior. Japanese lines were changes from the NES to the remake on SNES. Therefore I used a fan translation for the english text, and retyped the script for the deck. - Front card will display a screenshot of the dialogue, and the text under it as a hint (if you have the addon). - Back card will display the translation. Keep in mind it's not always a direct translation of the japanese sentence. - The website ichi.moe is directly embedded in the card style, and will decompose the sentence, giving the definition for each word. - The cards are ordered chronologically in the default field "ID". - Dont forget the necessary Japanese Support add-on. - Deck works on phone and anki-web too. *HOW TO USE* - I use this card template with the Morphman add-on and the MIA Dictionary add-on. You can use the deck without them. Fields will only appear on the card if they are filled out. - Set up Morphman Preferences Use the "Expression" field for your set-up. The field for focus morph is named "Target" and is already in the card template. Check the boxes for omitting words between brackets for more accurate results. Morphman will sort your cards based on your knowledge. You will see first cards containing only one word that you don't know. That word is automatically written in the "Target" Field. You can change that word during reviews with this edit add-on. To add definitions, just select the target field during reviews, and use ctrl+s to open up MIA dictionary. You can fill up the "Definition" field. Or can bulk add definitions in Browse mode (Advanced Browser add-on). Select all cards with a Target word and use the MIA dictionary add-on to automatically fill definitions of the word. - Set up MIA Replace the Field "hint:Expression" by "MIA" (1 field) and "Expression" by "MIA" (2 fields) on the front card. Replace the field "furigana:Reading" by "MIA" on the back card (1 field). In your settings, apply MIA to the field called "MIA", not "Expression". - The card template is made to regroup decks I make from different medias : anime, video-games, manga. - Cards are ordered chronoloically, the type of medium is the first letter in ID field: A (Anime), G (Game), M (Manga). - If you want to display / hide the sound button on the card, find: #Audio {display:none;} in the card display and delete "none". - If you want to change the size of pictures, just change the zoom % in the template. *HISTORY* V3 - 13/07/2020 Preview Card template updated for MIA. Kanji Pop Dictionary updated. Japanese typos corrected. Screenshot of english dialogue replaced by text, better layout and better accuracy. V2 - 31/03/2020 ID, Chronology order merged into one field. Template revised and simplified to suit all of my decks. V1 - 17/02/20 Preview Release *OTHER DECKS* - Study : Kanji, Grammar, Vocabulary - Reading: Manga (Yotsuba), Games (Pokemon, Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest) - Listening : Anime, Pimsleur I've compiled all my resources in a SPREADHSEET. You can find hundreds of anime, manga, games ordered by difficulty, direct links to their anki decks; links to video-game japanese scripts and various link to ressources for studying. Thanks for the deck, it's really helping me out. Also would be cool if you could make a Zelda one too. Thanks again !

Thank you.
Unfortunately I was just about to update the deck (card template, not the content).

I make decks as I play the games to take screenshots. Not sure when I'll get to Zelda, and if I'll make the deck then. It's time consuming.

In the mean time, you can find zelda scripts there "https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1vsZz_trkiRM9E15qHUptDXQYdPcbuXTWOw_j9fldD7g/edit#gid=0" or there "https://www.zeldadungeon.net/Zelda-textual-resources.php"
