This does not work for 2.1.47..not sure what you meant when you say it is added natively to anki tho :(
Getting an error when downloading
Good work, is very useful
works really well, thank you kind sir
Took me forever to find out how to do it natively
"Anki 2.1.45+ supports adjusting sticky fields directly from the editing screen. If you click on the pin icon on the right of a field, Anki will not clear out the field's content after a note is added"
I can't add this add-on with Anki 2.1.46.
I think that it is one of the most important add-on in Anki.
You don't need to. It's natively implemented in 2.1.45+. That's why I disabled it :)
It works on the 2.1, fantantics addon
Fixes the problems I had with the alternate Frozen Fields add-on:
- works with the latest release of Anki (2.1.44)
- does not seem to interfere with add-on Chinese Support Redux
Indispensable add-on ; Anki should have this built in!
Luckily for you, it will with 2.1.45 :) (although with a different design)
Great for 2.1.44
works at the latest version Anki 2.1.44 (original doesn't)
Very Good, my Friend. Tks. I was looking for this app.
works the same as the original frozen fields
runs smoothly on the latest anki version (2.1.43)
Excellent add-on, but it has an annoying bug (nothing that obscures the brightness of your work): sometimes, when adding a card, the text cursor goes back to the beginning of what was written, which requires the student to return the courses to the end of the text (a little annoying in the massive process of adding cards). Just a note, but I reiterate: the addon is excellent.

Another user switching over from Glutanimate's Frozen Fields. Excited to get this in the next update :)
helps me with my workflow
I have anki .42 updated but ze frozen fields doesn't seem to work on it, anyone know why?
It's most likely an incompatibility with another add-on. Have you tried disabling all other add-ons?
The only frozen fields that seems to work right now. I just like the bigger snowflakes a little more, easier to hit. :)
This is fantastic! I used to use Glutanimate's version, but that doesn't yet work wit Anki version 2.1.41. I think this version is better, because the snowflake items are smaller, less obtrusive. Thank you for updating it so quickly :)
I think it would be great if this were integrated into Anki natively. As a fairly obscure add-on, many people won't come across it.
Thanks again :)
Your prayers have been answered: Frozen fields will be natively integrated with the next major Anki release, implemented by me :)
I'll try it out as soon as I update from 2.1.22
its work perfect with the add on that resize pic in the editor (as the author explained), thanks a lot!
I've been using the Add-On for a while now — it works perfectly!
The Author even had a very cool idea to make an improvement over 'Frozen Fields':
placing the 'Flake'-symbol in front of the field NAME, instead of the field itself — thereby making better use of space in the 'Add' window.
Wish list …
… as I can now toggle fields with the keyboard, the wish list is … empty — another thumb up:
As of today (2020-09-09) the add-on includes these shortcuts.
A must have!!
It works fine. Saves lot of time.
My Anki Version is 2.1.32 (dee7d45d)
thanks! like it.
